EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: THE ARCHITECT OF FERRISVILLE

We sat down with the creator of the Ferrisville Archive to discuss the origins of his madness and the reason behind the toxicity.

Q: Let's talk about Daemon. He looks like a pure nightmare - syringes, toxins, hooks... Do you see him as the "final boss" of Ferrisville or just another local degenerate?

A: Daemon isn't the king of Ferrisville. He's a ghost. Nobody knows who he is, nobody has heard of him - that's the whole point. He creates chaos precisely because he's an enigma, a shadow. I think he just went completely insane from the isolation and whatever toxic rot is floating in the air of this city.

Q: And what drove you to draw such brutal things? The torture, the decay...?

A: Honestly? It's just impulses. My brain goes: "What if we draw him being poisoned by syringes?" and I'm just like, "Yeah, let's do it." That "let's do it" is probably a reason for people to be worried, because God knows what I'll come up with in the next animation. It's just pure flow - no brakes, no excuses.

Q: What about the friendship between Willie and Rick?

A: They've been friends since school. Somewhere, a long time ago, they must have decided that torturing animals and people was their "thing." That's why they have zero reaction to the current madness with the Sprunky remains. They just don't care. They poisoned the city, and they're perfectly fine with it.

Q: Any regrets?

A: Regrets? None. The archive is what it is. If you're looking for a moral, you're in the wrong place.
